Questions people actually ask us.
No jargon. No pretending everything needs changing.
I'm happy with my supplier. Why would I use Optima?
Because a review doesn't mean a switch. If the price, service and setup are good, keeping what you have can be the right recommendation. We can also look at other commercial costs or simply help you stay on top of future renewals.
What does the initial review cost?
The current Optima proposition describes the initial business cost review as free and without obligation. Individual specialist services may have their own commercial terms, which should be explained before you proceed.
Do I need to move all my services?
No. Start with one service, one bill or one problem. The aim is to improve what is worth improving, not move everything for the sake of it.
What can I send you?
Bills, statements, contracts and relevant property documents can all be useful depending on the service being reviewed.
Do you handle specialist waste?
Yes. The waste proposition includes everyday commercial waste and recycling as well as specialist streams such as clinical waste, needles and sharps, pharmaceutical waste, hazardous waste, WEEE and sanitary waste.
What are Capital Allowances?
They can provide tax relief for qualifying expenditure within commercial property. If you own a commercial property, or paid a premium for a lease, the simplest first step is to provide the purchase or lease documents so specialist surveyors can check whether it is worth exploring.
Can Optima work with my accountant?
Yes. The professional-partner proposition is designed to support accountants and their clients with commercial supplier matters rather than replace the accountant-client relationship.
What if you can't save me money?
Then knowing that your current setup is competitive is still useful. Price is also only one part of the review: service, administration, contract structure and supplier hassle can matter too.
